Step by Step Reading using phonics for the Caribbean: Using All the Sounds – Book 4

With its phonic base, this series has been designed for both adult and children learning to read. The features of each title are: the use of simple words that “work” by being sounded out; games and activities to make learning fun; the mastery over key words needed for literacy; a variety of methods for teaching of reading; and teaching notes to show how each page can best be used. The fourth book, “Using All the Sounds”, features activity pages for beginning readers. It introduces a range of special sounds presented in “sound families”, as well as covering plurals, adjectives and adverbs. The book includes sets of words for spelling tests and an assessment test which can be copied for use at home or in school.
