Let’s Pass English: Progress Tests for the Caribbean

This practice book in the language arts aims to assist students in gaining confidence in reading, writing, vocabulary, spelling, grammar and punctuation. The course can be used at the upper primary levels, such as Common Entrance and school leaving classes, and the lower secondary levels. The course also aims to motivate students to develop and improve a range of essential writing skills. The “Test Yourself” at the end of some units and the review unit are meant to help students assess the extent of their understanding. The “On Your Own” exercises should determine how comfortable and confident students are with the application of the skills that they have learnt in the units. Answers to the units are provided at the back of the book.
